J Russell

Jim Russell has been a member of the Immaculate Conception Family
for 18 years. He and his wife Mary have one daughter, Brianna who is
a fourth grader at St. Mary School. Jim is a Certified Public
Accountant (CPA) and enjoys fishing, reading, and woodcarving.

His main objective as a member of the school board is to maintain and to
increase the quality of the private education currently being offered

to our children while maintaining a one-on-one teacher-student ratio. Jim was elected
Vice-President of the board in September of 2007. Jim's dedication to the board stems from
his own Catholic Education as a child, his experiences are those he wants for not only his
daughter but for all children at St. Mary. He believes that "a Catholic Education, or any type
of private education is a privilege, not a right, and that we must be willing to give of
ourselves through our knowledge and time for this privileged to become a reality."
