Mrs. Barb Kirts teaches the three year old preschool and is the newest addition to the St. Mary staff. She is a 20 year veteran of teaching "Jesus' little one's" in the Lutheran schools. Mrs. Kirts is oringally from New Bulin, Illinois (a farm girl). She kept busy on the farm with 4-H, cows, pigs, sheep, and her chores. Her mom has always said -that she was the best helper with the chickens-17,000 laying hens to be exact. But she was the only one left! Mrs. Kirts, her husband Sean, and their two boys-Kegan and Sawyer live in Mattoon. She really enjoys teaching at St. Mary School and her three year olds keep her very busy. Stop in and see the three year olds in action, they LOVE to have visitors!
