Lana Croy has been teaching at St. Mary School since August of 2005. She graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Education from Eastern Illinois University.  Mrs. Croy and her husband Jeff live in Mattoon with their 3 children: Allie, Ryan, and Grace. Mrs. Croy incorporates a variety of activities to help children learn. Every child learns in a different way and it is important to give children many ways to grasp a concept. Seeing the children grasp the concept that Jesus loves them unconditionally is one of the most rewarding parts of her teaching experience.

Mrs. Croy is the co-Director of the Vacation Bible School at Immaculate Conception Church as well as participating in the Share the Word program on Sundays for children in Kindergarten through 5th grade. Mrs. Croy enjoys being with her family, working with her students through the school year, and participating in church activities.
